The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) transitioned many functions from MiWAM to MiUI. Action Needed Prior to March 31:
- Retrieve your MiUI activation code in MiWAM
- Login to your MiLogin for Business account, launch the MiUI service, and use your activation code.
- Set-up TPA authorizations in MiUI for 501 Alliance and any other TPA’s you work with.

Important Note: If you have had a TPA (Quickbooks, ADP, Paychex, etc.) filing your quarterly 1028 form in MiWAM, ensure they have “Submit Employment and Wage Detail” enabled in MiUI before March 31. 501 Alliance should not have this authorization.
Many of these TPA’s, in their general communication, are also requesting the “Edit Tax Payments Update and Submit” function. However, they should not need that for members of 501 Alliance since 501 Alliance pays all members charges.
